Sokoran is a 2D puzzle platformer developed as part of the HomeTeam GameDev community. The game features unique movement mechanics where the player character can only move in specific directions, creating challenging and engaging puzzles that require careful planning and execution.

Development Process

Developed using Unity and C#, Sokoran was created as part of the HomeTeam GameDev community. The project focused on creating engaging puzzle mechanics through unique movement constraints, requiring players to think strategically about their path through each level.

My contributions to Sokoran focused on enhancing the player experience through improved technical interactions. I implemented better cursor interaction systems for more precise control during gameplay, and resolved several critical bugs including issues with red dice behavior, missed click handling, and character position removal problems. These fixes helped create a more polished and responsive gaming experience while maintaining the challenging puzzle mechanics that define Sokoran.
